Whitewater Events

Ontario has more whitewater paddling than most people area aware of. Our very own Oxtongue River offers some good whitewater. Our Minden AO Boatwerks location was founded right near the Gull River Whitewater Preserve in Minden.

The Gull is a short - 600m - section of continuous class 2-3 whitewater. It is a great river for practicing technical river-running skills and playboating. Where the river empties into Minden lake is one of the most popular learning spots in Southern Ontario.

Every Monday when the water's flowing, is Whitewater paddling night at the Gull River.
